Elements

As long as I have had a visual awareness of landscape, I have been intrigued by the sand dunes of Namibia, and their sense of human sensuality.

The photographs in elements are about balance: the simple elegance of order, and nature's ongoing struggle to create it. They represent my personal search for balance, after the excesses of living in New York for the past 20 years.

As you look into The Eyes of Himba, spanning three generations of elements-hardened women, I urge you to search for your own conclusions about balance in life.
