In "Conveyor Belt" white-collar workers of Sydney are moving purposefully from 'A to B', contributing we assume to the economy, or at least in reaching a place where their efforts will be somehow rewarded. Are we driven by ambition? Money? The power and influence of others? I see unhappy people preoccupied with their work agenda's and unfortunately making little contribution to a culture of peace and happines. I see people preoccupied with thoughts that deem them void of being present in mind, and able to socially engage others. I see people losing a sense of themselves and their environment. I see people far away in dark shadows moving closer so I can have a good look at who they really are... again I am disappointed as they never quite get there. They once again move away from my direction. |
